About
Built by someone who screened the CVs.
Candora comes from three years inside IT recruiting, where the gap between what a CV claims and what turns out to be true was a weekly problem with no tool behind it.
The category around candidate fraud is forming quickly, and almost all of it is being built in the United States, on mechanics that do not survive European law. Enrichment from data brokers, automated rejection, behavioural inference and risk scores are all normal there and all a problem here.
That leaves a gap that is not a marketing position but a technical one. European business registries, domain records and archives hold information about employers that no American product reads, and reading them produces facts rather than probabilities. A fact can be shown to the candidate it concerns. A probability cannot.
So the product was defined by its limits first. The list of things Candora will not build was written before the first line of code, and each limit has a test that fails when it is crossed. That is a slower way to build, and it is the only version of this product worth building in Europe.
Candora is early. There are no paying customers yet and the pilot exists to find out what the findings are actually worth in a real funnel. Everything on this site is written to be true at that stage rather than at the stage we would like to be at.

Evidence over hunches
If a claim cannot point at a source, it does not belong in the report.
Fairness to candidates
The name comes from candor. A quiet digital footprint is never held against anyone.
Compliance by design
The legal limits are architecture, not a policy page written afterwards.
The recruiter decides
The system never gets to say no to a person.
The product argument is easier to see than to read.
